About Us

History

Coronado West was founded by John Cork to provide land bank financing services to residential home builders.

After 20 years, Coronado West now has more than 10,000 residential lots developed, or held for future development in more than 50 communities located throughout Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

Our highly specialized team has developed relationships with large national and regional home builders, to provide land bank finance services customized for each home builder’s specific requirements. We have also developed relationships with leading financial institutions to provide both off-site and on-site infrastructure development financing for our residential communities.

We recently launched a new home purchase for rent program. We are buying from home builders and leasing new single family homes in some of the best housing markets across the country.

Essential Residential

We have assembled an experienced team who evaluate opportunities and take them to the finish line. Our financial relationships in place support that effort. Since 2019, ER has added Single Family Rentals (SFR) and Build for Rent (BFR) assets in key growth markets: Austin, TX, San Antonio, TX, Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, and Atlanta, GA. We continue to aggregate.

Our business model is working with the builders we have served on the land bank side of the business to build and acquire assets in many of the markets we already have a presence. Over the past twenty years, we have been able to build relationships with many builders, master-planned community developers, and landowners to assist them in making finished communities out of their assets. Our record in the industry of being a part of that process in a professional and successful manner provide early insight into opportunities in the build for rent arena.

We look forward to growing this part of our business for years to come.
